Walk and Talk

  • Posted on: 31/07/2019

A peek into the Artemis archive has brought to our attention this delightful programme. In 2016 we were involved with the National Library of Scotland and Edinburgh World Heritage to walk and talk with a several Edinburgh schools.

Pupils were invited to explore the exhibition with Mrs Grant from the 18th century. She guided them through what meals were like 300 years ago which helped them to discover how eating habits have changed over time. The visit also included a walk down the Royal Mile exploring sites where people like Mrs Grant would have done their shopping. The walk ended in a reconstructed 18th century garden at the back of Edinburgh World Heritage offices.

The film gives you a flavour of this most enjoyable set of workshops that we constructed and delivered for the project.
