It’s October and that means the From Castle to Palace school sessions return to Edinburgh Castle with the opportunity to meet Mary Queen of Scots.

This is your opportunity for your class to investigate aspects of the queen’s life on a whole day outing. Visit two of the most important sites in Mary’s life – Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House.

Meet the Queen herself in Edinburgh Castle. Watch your class be transformed into young Scottish nobles who learn how to behave at the Queen’s Court. After you visit to the Castle,  walk down the Royal Mile using the Mary Queen of Scots discovery trail. At the Palace you will see real objects from Mary’s life.
