On Thursday 17th we will be at Elsieshields House, Lochmaben, for a fundraising event on behalf of The Art Fund.

Elsieshields was owned by Sir Steven Runciman who collected Lear watercolours.

We will be there to highlight another aspect of Lear – his nonsense poems. Mark Kydd will be playing Edward Lear and Diana Hart-Robertson will be Queen Victoria.
