Festival of Museums 14th May: Dundee

  • Posted on: 01/05/2016

This year we will be in 2 Dundee Museums for this wonderful Festival of all things museum related.

Verdant Works: 12.00 to 16.00

There is much excitement at Verdant Works. It is 1844 and Queen Victoria is coming to Dundee. Not only that she has consented to visit Verdant Works! This is your chance to meet Her Majesty and find out if she is indeed amused or not!

The McManus Gallery 19.00 to 21.00

The McManus Galleries are opening their doors on the evening of 16th May to the public.

Come along and meet Mr Plenderleith, the “Father of Conservation”. Without this Dundonian, many of the artefacts from Tutankhuman’s tomb would not be around for us to see today. He will be in the Galleries for you to meet and chat to.

Both events are suitable for all the family.
