Faberge Family Fun at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, 26th March

Come and meet the Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, daughter of Tsar Alexander II, and Duchess of Edinburgh married to Prince Alfred the 2nd son of Queen Victoria’s. She is here for one day only to bring the splendour of the Russian Court to the Palace and tell you a little bit about Russian Easter customs. Her brother has just presented his wife with an egg by Faberge and she also owns one of these splendid eggs.
