The Scottish War Memorial at Edinburgh Castle

Mrs Meredith Williams was appointed by Sir Robert Lorimer as one of the principle artists to work on the Scottish National War Memorial at Edinburgh Castle. The intention of this building was  to provide a place of national commemoration in Scotland for all those who had lost their lives in the 1914-18 war.

Alice’s story is largely forgotten, but from the 25th to 28th February, you can discover what her role was in this magnificent and moving building.

Performances are at 11.15,12.15, 14.00 and 15.00
