GLOW Meet Event 26th February: An Audience with Mary, Queen of Scots
posted on: 11.02.2010

It is Mary's final days in Scotland and she is staying at Dundrennan Abbey in Dumfriesshire. She is giving her loyal supporters one last chance to meet with her before she flees to England and asks for the help of her cousin, Elizabeth I. This is your opportunity to ask Mary about her life in France and Scotland.

It may be your last chance to see your Queen - who knows if she will ever return to Scotland?

This event is being introduced by Michael Russell, the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning.

Artemis is delighted to be involved in this innovative event hosted by the National Archives and organised by the Education Team at Historic Scotland and the Technical Team for GLOW at Learning and Teaching Scotland.
